S1500 #1 Posted June 11, 2008 What a disappointment. On a whim, I bought a new copy of Tecmo Arcade Classics for the Xbox(not 360), and the game won't boot up on my 360. Gives me some ambigious error on the dashboard, and won't go past the bootup screen. I check the back-compat list and it's on there as a go. Any updates I needed to run other xbox games I've already done. Of course, I lose the receipt from FYE to take it back. Oh well, $10 bucks gone. Tempted to take it to discland since they have a working Xbox and ask to see if they can give it a whirl. So, how good or bad is the process for dealing with the vendor(not FYE) to get a game exchanged?

iswitt #3 Posted June 11, 2008 Did you check to make sure that Tecmo Arcade is backwards compatible on the 360?
S1500 #4 Posted June 11, 2008 Did you check to make sure that Tecmo Arcade is backwards compatible on the 360? I did a google search and found it on the list of compatbile titles for BC. Unless I read it backwards, and was looking at a list of INcompatible titles.

Atariboy #6 Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) Like he said, this is known to not work when it's upscaled to higher resolutions. Set your 360 to 480i or 480p to play it. Edited June 12, 2008 by Atariboy
S1500 #7 Posted June 12, 2008 I set it to 480p, and it worked like a charm. Thanks. Sadly, this game compilation just plain sucks. Later that night, I bought Doom on XBLA and had 100 times more fun playing that instead.

I thought it was nice But then I did spend many hours playing Starforce, Bombjack & Pinball Action as a kid so there was the nostalgia factor

It's not as good of a compilation as the Taito Legends but only because it has less games.
