gameboy 250 in 1 Cart For Sale

Recommended Posts

have a regular Gameboy game that is 250 in 1. Has 250 games including sonic and disney games.

I picked it up a few years ago at a yard sale. I dont really no much about. This is not a offical relase game

Not sure whats it worth

first decent offer gets it.

Can you post a photo and give an idea of what sort of $$ you want for it as well as a more complete list of games? I really want to be sure we're talking gameboy and not gba, which has as you may know, tons of crappy all in one carts which are nothing more than a nes emulator and nes roms.

I don't know if it is the same thing as ones I have owned so don't take offense to this but every original Gameboy multicart I have owned that claimed to have several hundred games on it really only had about 20, they just had different names and/or slight graphical differences. If it truely has 250 different unique games then I would also be interested in a list since this would be something I would throw an offer at. I would be willing to bet it does not though :(

You are correct on this. I believe it has 10 games with 25 different variations of each game.

I used to have one with 80 something games, and I never found any similarities in the games at all.

It all depends on the cart. Gotta see pictures and get a list of game titles to be sure exactly what it is. It would also help if the owner played through all of them to tell us his impressions of the games and the menu system.

The value could be anywhere from a few dollars to thirty or forty depending.

Edit: I just noticed the author of this thread set a price at $25. I would caution against this high price unless the cart is pictured and the contents confirmed. this could be a great cart or a crappy one worth only a few dollars. he also never replied to my PM sent the day this thread was posted regarding this where I offered him $30 if he could provide more information. No reply, no followup, no pics.... leaves folks wondering

I was going to list this on ebay but they dont allow sale of multicarts. If anyone doesnt trust me you can look at my ebay feedback at zach18451 It is actually 280 in 1 Some games are Dr Mario Super Mario Land Toy story klax tank souko Ban daffy duck pinball tennis alleyway motocross kid niki felix the cat sonic lode runner tetris spartan bubble ghost flippull karateka and others, there are some different versions of these games. I have heard this is worth over 50.00 however i will honor 25.00 shipped. So there are some different versions of the same game but there is still quite a selection

I think $25 is a fair price. $50 is REALLY pushing it, and not very realistic. as was suspected, there are multiple "versions" of the same games, so really it's got maybe 24 or so games and then the rest are hacks of various types using the same data, most likely as Red_Queen pointed out, the different games are really just different levels of the same basic group of game, or something along those lines

The reason I KNOW this to be true is by process of elimination and your description above. the cart style and age is right around the time when pirate carts for GB/GBC were coming from all over, they're VERY common in many parts of the world. The chips they had to put in these things which they charged about as much, maybe a little more, as a retail official game can NOT hold 280 roms, it simply can't do it, I don't care if you load it with 280 of the smallest GB mono roms and trim the intros and whatever else you can do for size, plus it still needs a multi-menu which also takes up space.

so there you have it. not sure why you never responded to my original PM which offered you $30 before you made the announcement of $25

I see from my control panel you read it:

message: Gameboy multicart sent to: zach1845 on: Fri Jun 13, 2008 1:36 PM

so why no response?

oh well, it's a great find, I wouldn't feel bad about not getting $50, it's really not worth quite that. Anyone can buy a 32Mb flash kit from http://www.hkems.com/product/gb/gba-tr.htm for about $100 US and call it a day :) [you gotta e-mail them to get a price quote and to order the 32Mb flash cards] I have two of them myself, plus two 64Mb Mr. Flash cards.

this is why communication is key in a forum, especially when you're trying to sell or trade something... had you responded to my PM we wouldn't have any miscommunication ;) I would never make an offer of money if I wasn't serious. with an item like this, you really can't go sight unseen.

but it's all good, I mean no ill will at all, and I'm glad you got pictures up and shared your experience with the cart. it's nifty and true gameboy enthusiasts are happy enough just discussing it.

you shouldn't feel required or honor bound to sell to anyone at any price and I sure as heck did not mean to make it sound that way.

This sounds about the same as ones I have owned (games you mentioned that come on it) It's probably about 30 games with a bunch of repeats, hacks, etc..
