+Larry #1 Posted June 14, 2008 I'm curious about what kinds of hardware that folks who have purchased a new MIO have used to set up their new HD systems? * Who all has set one up? * What drive(s) did you use? * What bridge-board/controller did you use? * Has anyone successfully used an ST-225N (embedded SCSI)? My own (256K) MIO setups include the following: Adaptec 4010 and 4000 controllers ST-251 MFM drives ST-225 MFM drives ST-125 MFM drives All of these "play well together." -Larry

I have two 4010 controllers,do you have any documentation for them? (might be why I couldn't get the Supra KPI to work....) Thanks!
MEtalGuy66 #3 Posted June 15, 2008 I can tell you for sure that the ST-225N works with no issues.. Every one of the new MIOs is tested with one..

(might be why I couldn't get the Supra KPI to work....) Thanks! There is supposedly no functional difference between the 4000 and 4010. Both work fine with my MIO's. There is an abbreviated PDF here: http://download.adaptec.com/pdfs/user_guides/acb4000_um.pdf -Larry
