My Home Garcade

Recommended Posts

Here is a link to some of my home arcade photos - I have a single car garage with 3 Pins and 6 Arcade Games. My home office is also in the room or I would have a bit more space. But for now, it is pretty much maxed out :)

This weekend I added two new machines to the arcade - a super nice Williams Alien Poker Pinball and a $75 Arch Rivals bought locally of Craigslist.

That's awesome. My game room consists of a little part of my basement. I need to frame the one wall and panel, but I have room for 1 more cab in front of the window.

note the Arcade Zone sign . lol.

I have a larger room in the basement to use, but there's some work I would need to do to get it ready. The problem is, I don't know how long I'm going to be in my current house, I don't think it may be worth the time and effort.

I wish I had a garage like that though, that would be the dream. I'd want a 2 car garage where half of it could be a game room.

Then do what I did - fabricate your own walls. I made the walls in my basement using 2x4s and 8'x4' sheets of 1/4" panels; basic stuff. I added electricity and venting inside them and the beauty is they're modular. I can move them at will or just take them with me. See pics of my place in this thread http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...amp;hl=basement although many of my new toys aren't shown. I'll get some new pics at some point. Took me a day to make all of the walls and paint them.

I'm expanding the area and adding a diner with booths in it.

yeah that's nice. don't have that much room, I could do something like what Crazy Climber has though, problem is a pipe that runs down the side of one wall, it angles and I haven't quite figured out how I would frame that in.
