Diablo 3 ingame video

as Blizzard officially announced D3 have you seen the ingame video (20min)... I love it... as WoW player I thought they take the engine from WoW and make a kind of STRG+C approach but it seems it's not...

 

this year SC2 & WOTLK and next year maybe D3?

Awesome in every way. I hope they bring back the Druid. He was my favorite character from LoD. The Witch Doctor looks interesting, though. Sort of a combination of Sorceress and Necromancer.

On a related note, they just released a new patch for Diablo II (1.12). I can't believe they're STILL patching the game!

Tis true. I started a new Sorc up last week. Sucks though that you lose everything after 90 days of no play. I had so much stuff a couple years ago. All gone.

I recently had a lot of fun playing D2 offline with an item editor. I made a ring for my Druid that allowed him to summon EVERY summon type in the game. So, he was going around with all the usual Druid summons, skeletons and skel mages, a Golem, a hireling, a summoned Paladin (forget what the skill is called), and one of the Assassins's shadow summon thingies. I never had to even TOUCH a monster, as they all died within seconds of coming onto the screen. Lots of fun!

I played D2 yesterday and my character that I didn't play for over 6 months was of course expired. I clicked on it and it let me start a game with her. Now it doesn't say it's expired anymore.

You know, that reminds me I need to load up Diablo II again and get to playing, since I seem to be in an action/rpg mood as of late, via Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. I miss my Diablo days!

OMFG. Diablo 3? I don't know if I can take a third round of Diablo insanity. I literally lived on caffiene and frozen food for like a month straight when D2 came out! D2 was one of my top five all time worst gaming addictions.

 

Watching those videos I can feel the addiction coming on already!
