Counting with the Count Prototype

I seen the unreleased prototype Grover's Music Maker from the Children’s Computer Workshop Series on the AA rarity list but not Counting with the Count. I believe these two games were supposed to come out in stores at the same time. Has a prototype ever been found for this game? I'd love to see pics.

Also known as the missing CCW title, this would have a been a math title based on the Sesame Street Count character. An internal Atari memo puts the game at 80% complete, but the game was never finished. Apparently the original programmer left and there was no one available to finish the game.

Someone had also told me that CCW also intended on doing a game for Bert but have seen no proof of it anywhere.

Man I haven't seen that article in years. I worked with Scott on that one waaay back.

 

Anyway, the Counting with the Count was what we originally thought the title to be from the little info we had, but later on we found an internal memo that called it Counts Castle. Therefore I'm guessing Counts Castle was the correct title, but until it surfaces there's no way to know for sure.

Games in development often underwent title changes...not unusual.
