phuzzed #1 Posted July 13, 2008 Was going through my collection of stuff, and found out that I had two copies of RealSports Baseball. One of them has an upside down front label. I found a little bit of info about this via Google, but nothing that indicated it's rarity. How rare was this? And did it happen on any other catridges? +Mitch #2 Posted July 13, 2008 Those show up every once in while for different games. It's a manufacturing error but there's not a rarity defined because they are not too difficult to change with a heat gun. Mitch
phuzzed #3 Posted July 13, 2008 Thanks. I figured this wasn't probably a huge rare find, but was curious, nevertheless. I spent the entire day organizing my entire 2600, 5200, and 7800 game collections. I alphabetized most of them, so things are easier to find. 400 carts, all neatly organized. I'm pleased. phuzzed #5 Posted July 15, 2008 evidentually, the words "Quality Control" were not heard of at the Atari catridge labeling department.
Tempest #6 Posted July 15, 2008 evidentually, the words "Quality Control" were not heard of at the Atari catridge labeling department. Most of the 1986 Atari 2600 games should have tipped you off to that... Tempest
phuzzed #7 Posted July 15, 2008 heh... i forgot about all of those Atari 2600 games that had Mispellings, and stickers over the "For use with Joystick Controllers" section of the front label.
lemoncurry #8 Posted August 16, 2008 I just bought a copy of Realsports Baseball in a thrift store bag lot that has BOTH labels upside down!
