Get video off Xbox 360 / Pac-Man!

Recommended Posts

I don't know if anyone buys video, but go into Marketplace -> Video -> Network Shows -> Hanna Barbara -> you will find 13 or so Pac-Man cartoons! You can tell they're old, but I bought every one of them anyway.

Which leads me to my question.. is there any way to get the video to my computer so I can watch it there too? I'd like to save it forever. If my 120GB Xbox 360 gets filled up I'd like to get the stuff I've watched off and save it elsewhere.

So far I have all of Paranormal State Season 1 (20 episodes) and all of Pac-Man. Would have been cheaper and better for me to buy Paranormal State on DVD, but I really wanted to watch them one day.

As far as I know you cannot do that due to DRM protection. The movie is keyed to your xbox 360.

Yep, thats correct.

You could do what I did was, plug it into your pc if you have video capture on it,save to your pc HD

Is there anything (Macrovision?) preventing me from patching a 360 into a DVR, and using the DVR to make a copy?

I'd really like to have that show, but I trust downloaded content about as much as I trust week old deli ham... and for the exact same reason.

I might try to buy a DVD recorder and record it, then go return the DVD recorder saying I didn't like it. My main concern is saving these for myself, not anything pirate.

Let me know how that works out.

Maybe this Sunday I'll find something. I have only watched one cartoon so far. There's 3 in each episode and the one was pretty long!

I wish I could find an Episode Guide. I can buy the whole series on DVD (illegally I guess) online which said it had 43 episodes. On XBLA I purchased 13 episodes but each have 3 cartoons, so that's 39.

So, I'm wondering if the show is considered to have around 13 episodes (each being 3 cartoons) or do they consider it around 39 episodes (each being 1).

Probably a good chance those extra episodes are unaired episodes or something like that...
