Hard to argue with any of those, but were you really looking for something not done before? Then I would give it to Toyshop Trouble.

i think my all-time favorite homebrews are Fall Down, Strat-O-Gems, and the bouncy platform game in Swoops! Or at least those are in my console more than any others (except form Gingerbreead Man because i am determined to get to the damn boss sometime this damn month).

 

Somebody mentioned Go Fish as an original game but i've seen it before prior to the 2600, I'm not sure where. Intellivision? Flash game?

 

It's really hard to narrow down the best homebrews, because most of them are better than any of the "real releases" especially in the way they take better advantage of the system's limits.
