The better EBay alternative for gaming stuff.

http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/

Basically what he said.. I do almost all my current buyer and selling on there, the owner is a super nice guy that has put alot of effort and time into creating a sweet alternative. Its a fast growing site with well over a 1000 users right now and a great place to sell and buy without alot of the things ebay has done that most don't like or find unfair...

ANyway if you have any direct questions about the site let me knwo I've been on there for about 6 monthes now and know most of the ins nad outs. It would be perfect for these kind of games as there are no stipulations on prototypes or homebrews. ANyway have a good one..

If you were really concerned, you could call it a "Pac-Man clone" or "Pac-Man homage" or something if you want to avoid calling it "Pac-Man" directly.

On a different forum, I suggested to e5frog that he should redo Pac-Man completely like vTech once did on the creatiVision. Their Pac-Man clone Crazy Pucker was soon withdrawn from the market, replaced by Crazy Chicky in which you play a hen who lays eggs in the maze instead of eating dots, hunted by four foxes or so. Pretty much the same game but because the dot-eating part had been replaced by egg-laying, Namco couldn't do much to sue them for infringement. I know a number of other Pac-Man clones had to be pulled from the market too, e.g. Commodore's Jelly Monsters for the VIC-20 which HAL Laboratories had the rights to sell (as Pac-Man) in Japan but nowhere else.

Oh well, that is off the topic. I have seen the karate game too, very impressive work so far. With so many talented machine code programmers among us, it shouldn't be impossible to get a few more studying the F8 processor and the surrounding circuitry, memory maps to open up a bigger market for Channel F homebrews. If the supporting hardware in the carts is expensive and hard to come by, even better if each homebrew would contain a couple of different games so you got 2-3-4 games in each cartridge.
