Old-style switchboxes for sale NEW!

Hey, I found some of those old styled switchboxes used in the older systems for sale, at of all places, ACE Hardware. They were brand new in the package (and were actually ACE brand). Just thought I'd let you all know, in case you all needed any. I got one, and it works great (and you don't need the little piece that has the screws, either, as it has a built-in coaxial cable connector).

I recall seeing those at Ace Hardware West there in Norman. I was a little shocked to find 'em.

 

You know I still have a modified Radio Crap box like that on my light sixer, and it does pretty good!

I'm curious as well, last time I bought those at ACE they were $6.50 or $7.00 each, can't remember. You can buy 10 or more and get the 'contractor' 10% off discount. I did that once, they had to special order them, but saved a few bucks.

I don't know why anyone uses these anymore... the RF/coax adapters are much better IMHO. Assuming a newer TV, of course.

 

When I sell a new system, I always include a converter and as a result I have loads of switchboxes. If anyone needs them in bulk, shoot me a line.
