iswitt #9 Posted July 30, 2008 I would have to say I have two favorite systems. I have one "old school" favorite and a current favorite, as follows: - NES - X Box 360 For the NES, my favorite game would have to be either Guardian Legend or The Legend of Zelda. For the 360, my favorite games are Gears of War and Halo 3, however I put a lot of time into my XBLA games as well.

fdurso224 #11 Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Hi guys: I really enjoy all gaming consoles & its games (including handhelds). Except one, and that's the Nintendo Wii. I just don't particularly care for that system (only its nice web browser). Nothing that the Xbox 360 & PS3 can do better (for today standards of modern video games). Anthony.... Reaperman #14 Posted August 1, 2008 (edited) My absolute favorite console was not listed but is the original XBOX only cause it is rumored that this is the results of an article in the past about a machine called Project X that was started by ex-Atari employees. Who knows, but the console had alot of fun games. no, that rumor is incorrect. 'Project X' evolved into what became VM Labs' Nuon game system which eventually came out right about the time of dreamcast. Nuon wikipedia link. You're going to be mad at me though, because Xbox makes a way better 'favorite game system' than Nuon does... The only major tie between microsoft, nuon and jaguar, that I know of is Jeff minter, who created the 360's built-in virtual light machine--or whatever microsoft calls it--as well as developing a similar product buried in the firmware of both the Atari jagCD and the VM Labs Nuon. Of course that tie is for the 360, not the old xbox. Edited August 1, 2008 by Reaperman

liveinabin #20 Posted August 2, 2008 I've always held a bit of a candle for the Sega Saturn, on which Panzer Dragoon Saga is my favourite game. I must say, though, that the PS3 is rapidly becoming my favourite console ever. I just love the fact that every Thursday you get a load of new free (or really cheap) new stuff to play, be it demos or new games from independent studios. And I LOVE firmware updates. I like having a toy that keeps learning new tricks all the time.

shadow460 #23 Posted August 2, 2008 It's hard to pick a favorite of either, really. I haven't got a console that I really dislike. They are more of a means to an end, and that end is playing games. There are too many games I've enjoyed to list them all.
