+HammR25 #1 Posted August 6, 2008 Darn I missed out on getting ripped off. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=190239036734 Anyone have any idea what this collection would really be worth?
doubledown #2 Posted August 6, 2008 In the description he claims that: "SOME GAMES ARE WORTH $ 300,- TO $ 400,- ALONE !!" But 161 games at $100,000.00, the games average out to $621.12 each. Even if every game was worth $400.00 that only comes to $64,400.00. So what's the extra $35,600.00 for? I was thinking about bidding untill I did the math! Reaperman #3 Posted August 6, 2008 (edited) ...I was thinking about bidding... really? uh...I what I meant was "but of course, I dug $100k out of my couch cushions last week and was looking for something to blow it on too." I think with all my 80+ systems (100+ now?) the entire value of my collection might be $10,000. I'd guess the average value of those sealed nes games would be about $20 each (shipped) if sold individually--making the entire value of that collection, somewhere around $3000. I sold a sealed near mint legend of zelda for a whopping $103 a few years back, so I really doubt anything's worth $400 sealed. granted Zelda is a common title, but "semi rare" NES games tend to go for squat. I had personal experience with someone from the netherlands that was asking crazy prices for doing nothing for me. Makes me think she was smoking something. +atari2600land #12 Posted August 8, 2008 When I looked at the title in the thread, I thought it would be about the size of NES games. IMO, you should've put a $ in front of the title.
