mellis
Someone at the Sony Vaio division must love our beloved 600/800/1200XL. The FZ Series looks a lot (in its color separation) like the classic Regan Cheng design: Sony Vaio FZ Series Notebook PC I saw one of these at a Sony Style store, and even in person, the resemblance to the XL Ataris is uncanny. yorgle
I can easily see the resemblance. Even the rightmost keys line up vertically like the function keys on a 600/800xl. Nice looking device.
Rybags
A nice XL mod would be to replace the white plastic parts with folded stainless steel sheet.

Regards, patjomki I completely agree. If the white section had been on top of the keyboard, this may have looked (somewhat) like a 600XL but not in its inverse position. To get back to the Sony Vaio FZ Series, I tried one yesterday on location and it's a decent machine for what it is. if you can get it for cheap, it makes a nice lookalike XL Series ready for G2F and other modern Atari applications. @ Rybags -> Great idea.
