20 Great Games for Vic 20

I got that Cymbal Software 6-tape booklet a few weeks ago off someone on eBay (only the second time I've seen it on there in a few years...it was mysteriously "removed by seller" the first time shortly after I had placed my bid). I decided to write down the game titles since I haven't seen much info online.

 

Tape 1

Metro Dome

Demon Hunt

Horse Race - you place a bet on one of 4 horses! The races are usually EXCITING - great for parties.

Ice

Star Fights

Laser Shoot

Tanks

 

Tape 3

Convention

Chase

Night Flyer

 

Tape 4

Maze Master

Senorita

Grand Prix

 

Tape 5 (I remember this tape best because I like puzzle games)

Frogs - puzzle game where you jump frogs to switch their position

Rotate - puzzle game where you put blocks of letters in alphabetical order according to certain rules

Safe - you have a certain number of tries to guess the combination of a safe; after each try the game tells you how many digits you have correct and how many are in the correct position

Galaxy Defender

Cargar

Crazy Balloon - you guide a balloon through a spikey land while trying not to pop it

Space Birds

 

I remember one of these was similar to Kaboom...I think it was Convention. Also one of them had a song by The Cars in its intro music. Next time I play I will write down some more things and post more (if anyone even cares about the Vic 20)....
