doubledown #1 Posted August 15, 2008 I just got finished prototyping the Component Video and VGA mods on my Coleco Adam. I was going to take some comparison screenshots of each of the different outputs: RF, Composite, S-Video, Component, and VGA so that I could visually show the difference between the different upgrades. Usually when I've seen this type of detail comparison it's showing the difference on something like a 16-bit console, comparing the RF vs. S-Video They'll take the pics of the whole screen, then also show a zoomed in detail of a certain spot. My question is what ColecoVision/ADAM game do any of you think would be a good game for something like this. I realize that most ColecoVision games don't have a lot of screens with a lot of attempted visual detail, but what do you think. What game, what screen, what specific spot or area on said screen? +5-11under #2 Posted August 16, 2008 I'd pick something very popular, so people could compare with their own hardware. Thanks, 5-11under
Pixelboy #3 Posted August 16, 2008 I'd pick Buck Rogers (the Super Game). Not only is it a pack-in game with the Adam, but it also has the kind of graphics that can benefit from a better TV output. Great for comparison purposes. Just my opinion.
