New addition: Dragon Saber

It's like 1942, but with dragons.

 

 

It needed a little TLC, but vintage games always do.

I had a blast cleaning it up last night!

Besides disassembling and cleaning, my son made me take all the bolts to the wire brush to remove the rust.

 

 

25" monitor looks perfect even though it looks too bright in the pics.

 

 

This game was given to me by a fellow Mustang Club member!

Nice find - wiiiide cab for the 25" screen though! The marquee doesn't fit - was it something else before?

I really have no idea!

 

The CPO decals fit.

I expect it is a conversion package at least.

 

The cab has a SEGA tag on it, but the game is Namco.

I have a catalog of cabinet shapes in my head. It's like a savant thing.

 

Rastan never came in a dedicated cabinet, so it's a conversion too. Of this, I'd say:

Does that mean I can plug in a Jamma multi board and start playing?

 

Or is it not as simple as plug and play?

Mostly, yeah. Some of the multi boards I've seen require an extra power supply because they keep power on to all the boards at once. Otherwise, yeah, simple.

 

Of course you'll have to stick with games with the same monitor orientation and controls, but you probably realize that.

Yeah if I recall Dragon Saber was never a dedicated machine, still a great game. The soundtrack is also awesome!
