Static,white noise from my new TV

Hi everyone!I bought a brand new 26 inch CRT TV to play all my Classic console games on this past January.Works fantastic,except for 1 problem.On all settings,channel 2,3,or4,i get a static/white noise coming out of both mono or stereo sound setting.When i turn up volume,the noise gets louder,does that when watching regular TV,but since there's somewhat less noise when playing vid games, its more noticeable.Im using that direct rf to coax adapter also.Everything goes through a splitter/amplifier.I cant figure out why i am getting this noise.Anyone know why im getting this noise?much appreciated in advance!!!!!
