Plastron #2 Posted August 26, 2008 Just tested the game on an EMU and it looks like it is 64K
Wrathchild #3 Posted August 26, 2008 http://www.atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?T...amp;NUM_IMAGE=0 The tapes of that era tended to have a banner in the corner indication the machines it ran on. On BMX Simulator this states 800XL and 130XE, an odd way of implying 64K was required. If it ran in 48K then I thought they tended to include 400/800 on the banner but there doesn't seem to be much consistency (e.g. Mastertronic titles). spudmanno5 #4 Posted August 27, 2008 yeah i noticed the banner too. but like you said mastertronic titles had the same thing yet some work in 48k! if it helps bmx simulator also got converted to 48k spectrum and commodore 16 (16k). i will try this on an emu myself when i get a laptop, but i suppose it looks like its 64k
Wrathchild #5 Posted August 27, 2008 mastertronic titles had the same thing yet some work in 48k!Their banners, which tend to say '800 / 130' might have been interpretable as the '800' meaning '400/800' (e.g. with 48K) and the '130' meaning the XL/XE series, e.g. '800XL/65XE/130XE/XEGS'
