StarshipUK
I already have one, but would like another three. I will send a PM with my E-Mail. Just to check - You can have two plugged into one PC, and it will work for two player games OK?

Do these allow the use of the 2nd fire botton on the Atari 7800 controllers?

InfoMan
Please add me to the waiting list as well! Thanks! (Now if someone would just make a bluetooth or IR adapter to use the joysticks with Atari Retro on my Palm...)
Deteacher
Will the Stelladaptor allow you to use the driving controller like a spinner for MAME games like Tempest and Tron?
Albert
Will the Stelladaptor allow you to use the driving controller like a spinner for MAME games like Tempest and Tron? No, support would need to be added to MAME for that to work properly. Sure would be nice, though. ..Al

Albert
Even if it could, the driving controller doesn't have the DPI for that to work well. Just curious, how much of a difference is there between the 2600 driving controller and, say, the Tempest rotary controller? ..Al
Logan5
Has anybody who's already got one used it successfully with paddles with StellaX on a Mac running OS X? I've got a different 9-pin to USB adapter, and it works with a joystick, but I can't get it to understand paddles right, so I'm curious. Yes, the Stelladaptor works fine with paddles (and driving controllers) inside OS X with StellaOSX. It's easy to build an adapter that only supports joysticks, but a fair bit more work for the device to support additional types of controllers. The Stelladaptor is the only such device that supports paddles and driving controllers, as far as I know. And it does this without having to install any software or drivers on the host computer. ..Al I'm on board for one. Today I was able to find paddles and driving paddles in mint condition. Can't wait for my stelladapter! Really want to play KABOOM! with a real paddle instead of a mouse...

Atariboy
I was just checking this thread to see if there were any updates, and was curious if you've ever given any consideration to doing 1 more run of the Redemption 5200 adapters like your doing for the Stelladaptor? Thanks
