Cassidy Nolen #1 Posted August 29, 2008 I was reading Electronic Games magazine last night and found an ad for Data Age. The ad says you got a free record with a "recording experience" if you asked for it at any Data Age dealer. It was free. I suppose that shares with us the level of quality. Does anybody have one of these? Apparently there is a documented connection between this and the software company (unlike a certain "Music Machine" record I can think of..... ). Thoughts/berating welcome. I am always amazed as long as I have been into the 2600 there is still stuff I don't know about. C

Mot #6 Posted August 29, 2008 Record:http://www.atarimania.com/lst_goodie.php?T...D=10&MENU=2 Sound: http://www.digitpress.com/dpsoundz/mp3.htm Why does Yars' Revenge Record Back look like Missile Command? I guess they didn't want to put a real Yar shot because it would be hard to read the words they put on top of it. (Maybe?)
ATARIPITBULL #7 Posted August 29, 2008 The Data Age record is weird! I thought I was on Acid just from hearing it.

Philflound #10 Posted September 4, 2008 There was also a Music Machine record that features some of the same characters as the video game box. Though I heard the record has nothing to do with the video game. Not sure why they would draw the same characters. Anyway, if Rom wants photos, he can let me know. I own the record. The record was produced by a religious publisher, and the game was a tie-in for that.
moycon #12 Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) I had the Data Age record as a kid. I have no idea where it is now. I think I sold it off about 10 years ago. Thanks for the link to the mp3 though! That'll bring back some memories for sure! Here's another link to the mp3 along with a good picture of the "record". http://vividpicture.com/aleks/atari/index.shtml Edited September 4, 2008 by moycon
