MattyXB #1 Posted August 28, 2002 Today I found a great site. There you can play Adventure on your IE5. Atari Adventure But I can only select level 1? Must try it a bit more.
CrazyImpmon #2 Posted August 28, 2002 It's nice but it seems a tad buggy. For one thing the color/B&W switch sometimes don't work. Game Select doesn't seems to work at all. There's a red dragon in Game 1. Bat appeared carry chalice if you die, and you can't restart like with the game version. And here's the kicker: yellow dragon guarding yellow key. Overall quite nice, sure shows a lot of effort went into this including a mock of 2600 console. (hint, try turning off the 2600 console.)

Overall quite nice, sure shows a lot of effort went into this including a mock of 2600 console. (hint, try turning off the 2600 console.) Color / B&W switch work fine by me. PS: Everything is black, but the dot is always green. In original game everything must white and grey, so the color by B&W too wrong. But I have notice too, that the yellow key is on the wrong place. It must lay at the beginning next to the yellow castle. Your dot is always green, but in the original game, he change the colors and the color is the same as the background color. And the labyrith is diffrent too. You can walk from the right or from the left to the black castle, but when you go back, you must walk the left way. The right is blocked. In the original game, you can only walk the left way to the black castle, and back too. So its not the original game, but a bit fun too.
AtariDude #4 Posted August 28, 2002 This is a nicely done recreation. It is not perfect as there are faults like the yellow dragon guarding the yellow key but otherwise it is nicely done. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the difficulty level? I tried but nothing seemed to happen.
DuckandCover #5 Posted August 28, 2002 Overall, it's a great port. Granted, there are some differences from the original (Rhindle's appearance in Game 1 surprised me), but it's still an outstanding effort. I couldn't get the game select switch to work either. Still, it is pretty cool to be able to play the game online. The power switch is a funny touch. This obviously took a lot of time and work for the programmer, and it's well worth checking out.
