Shred Nebula

Anyone else here try Shred Nebula yet? It's a really good top down space shooter. The controls are awkward at first (well maybe awkward all the time) but when you get used to it it's a really good old school game. I'm really enjoying it now. Well worth the $10 price IMO.

I tried the demo and didn't like it much...plus I've bought 3 other XBLA games in the last week or so.

Yea, the control scheme is really half assed in my opinion. Supposedly a patch is coming out that will allow you to change that. Kind of a shame though, it really is a good game, but whoever came up with that control scheme should be shot.

I will check it out if they come out with a patch. If I had to guess they'll make the controls like Geometry Wars which they were probably trying to avoid to begin with because there are so many shooters on Live that use that control. In the end it's the best for this type of game.
