I hope this doesn't end up in the "Worst MAME Cabinets ever.. " thread

Hello All:

 

In the few minutes I have tonight I thought I'd finally post my MAME Cabinet.

 

It uses a 27" arcade/VGA hybrid monitor (Wells Gardner) and does 640x480 and 800x600. It's running Windows XP with MAMEWAH as a front end (PITA to set up!!!!)

 

I decided on a red/black theme as the controls I purchased happened to be all red, so I went with it.

 

It's named after my favorite place to be as a teenager in the early 80's: the 'Time Out' arcade in the Massapequa Sunrise Mall.

 

Now that I think about it, I probably should have taken the pictures with the unit on and a game running

You can also see my Cocktail Cabinet, and the Arcade Marquees I had framed and mounted on the wall.

Looks damn good to me.

 

I used to love TimeOut as well.

Ours was attached to a Roller Land.

 

Every Saturday of my youth was spent skating at roller land and playing arcade games at TimeOut.

The cabinet itself is very nice and clean. Just needs a better marquee IMO and sideart.
