A2600 #1 Posted September 20, 2008 I just sat down looking at some of my games and I thought WOW, this game would have been awsome on this console or that console, but it never happened My Thoughts Blades of Steel on the Super Nintendo, I see it as a possible launch title, aka Super Blades of Steel, maybe released in the same frame as its Game Boy port. Golvellius, on the Genesis would have been awsome, I see as the sequel for the SMS that we never got. Zelda Links Awakening for the NES, maybe for the SNES it would have been too soon after the release of A Link To The Past but it would have been cool too. Reaperman #2 Posted September 20, 2008 I think wing commander: privateer would have been awesome on a 3do or jaguar. and Colony Wars would be awesome on PS3.

2600Lives #4 Posted September 20, 2008 Metal Gear for the Super Nintendo. Metroid for the N64. Psycho Fox on the Genny. Phantasy Star (NOT PSO or PSU), for ANY system post Genesis.
Vic George 2K3 #5 Posted September 20, 2008 TRON Deadly Disks (NOT Disks Of TRON) for the Nintendo 64.
AtariLeaf #6 Posted September 20, 2008 One thats always bugged me, a series that died prematurely and would be incredible on the current systems, is Road Rash. The last ones made were in the PS1, N64 era and although they weren't great (I have and LOVE the Jailbreak on PS1) I'm sure they sold well enough to continue the series. And put me down for a resurrection of the Colony Wars series too. Loved that one.
slosu #7 Posted September 20, 2008 Shadowgate II for SNES Halloween: Return Of Michael Myers for SNES Another Maniac Mansion would have been sweet for SNES
liveinabin #8 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) On the Tron theme, Tron Solar Sailer would be great on the PS3 Um, Scud Race on the Dreamcast More Zak McKracken for anything. Oh, and Endless Ocean on any system but Wii. Then I could put the damn thing away Edited September 20, 2008 by liveinabin
PressureCooker2600 #9 Posted September 21, 2008 Another Maniac Mansion would have been sweet for SNES Another Maniac Mansion for any system would be sweet. Day of the Tentacle left me drooling for more.
mbd30 #10 Posted September 21, 2008 Why didn't they port the arcade versions of "Shinobi" and "Rastan" to the Sega Genesis? I love the "Shinobi" Genesis titles that we did get, but I don't understand why they didn't port the popular original. It would have been arcade perfect. "Rastan Saga" stunk from what I remember. They should have just given us the original. Or how about a _true_ SNES "Ninja Gaiden" rather than that lazy compilation?
kirin jensen #11 Posted September 21, 2008 A Wizard of Wor or Gorf for the O2 with voice would have been awesome. The same for Berzerk. I know the O2 has Amok!, but no voice support.
Corby #12 Posted September 21, 2008 Day of the Tentacle, or street rod 1, and 2, and possible 3 for the 7800 love those two games. donkey kong for snes!
godslabrat #13 Posted September 22, 2008 *Marvel vs. DC for any system of the Dreamcast era or later. *Some form of FPS for the Virtual Boy, preferably GoldenEye 007 *Multi-Player games for the VB *Batman for the Atari 2600 (I actually went so far as to make homebrew Batman & Robin sprites, but never did more than that) *Arcade-faithful sequels to Donkey Kong for systems other than Game Boy. *A FREAKING HUGE Metroid or Zelda game. I'm a big fan of both these franchises, but I've lately felt that the games are getting too short. Odd, considering that I've stopped using player's guides so the games should, in theory, feel longer to me. They don't Instead of the usual 8 dungeons, why not have 30? I know it could be done. SRGilbert #14 Posted September 22, 2008 I was pretty dissapointed to learn that there was a sequel for Flashback in the works for the GBA, only it was cancelled when the Delphine went bankrupt in 2002.
roland p #15 Posted October 9, 2008 Metal Gear for the Super Nintendo. I second that. The MSX2 versions were great. I just don't get it why the Metal Gear series is not exploited more back in those days. Versions of Metal Gear or SD-Snatcher on the PC-Engine Super-CD-ROM would have been great too... +pboland #16 Posted October 9, 2008 A Wizard of Wor or Gorf for the O2 with voice would have been awesome. The same for Berzerk. I know the O2 has Amok!, but no voice support. I would have to agree with you on that. I would love to see Wizard of Wor for the O2 Voice!

darthkur #19 Posted October 10, 2008 I'm actually surprised to see two references to Tron but neither for the original arcade game. I would love to see a port of that for any system. Too bad the odd control scheme pretty much ruined the chances for a home version.

Lauren Tyler #21 Posted October 10, 2008 Custer's Revenge for a new system. (Just kidding! ) Seriously, though, there were a lot of games I thought should've been made: Friday the 13th for the SNES: Imagine how more detailed the game would be, and perhaps more to do than just run around waiting for Jason to attack. Not to mention, if it was made after Nintendo dropped their squeaky clean image, imagine how much more fun it would be! Road Runner for the Atari 7800: Since the Atari 2600 game was done very well, an Atari 7800 version would've done even better I'm sure. With POKEY chip support, it could probably even include a few tunes from the arcade. Man, how I loved the arcade's rendition of the William Tell Overture. The Three Stooges for the SNES: Imagine taking the old game, adding new stuff, and giving it more details with graphics and sounds. I mean, imagine extra speech samples, different minigames (instead of the recycled minigames on the GBA,) and the most important option of all, to be able to play as Shemp! (For bonus points, you could throw pies at Joe Besser. ) Star Wars: The Arcade Game for the NES: I still remember playing that for the first time back in 1988, and I so thought an NES port would be great. Now we have emulation, but still. May not be feasible, but we can always dream, right?
Inky #22 Posted October 11, 2008 More Zak McKracken for anything. Hear hear! That IMHO was the best LucasArts adventure game. THere's a fan sequel out there... http://www.zak2.org/

redglass77 #24 Posted October 14, 2008 Yes Road Rash, Colony Wars, Shadow Gate 2, FlashBack they all should have had come backs also I was thinking I.Q. (Intelligent Qube) on any system ps2 to present would be bad ass Mutant League Football on any next gen Bushido Blade ps3 360 or on a wii would be pretty killer too I might be in the minority here but an updated Loaded from ps1 on next gen systems now with online feat. would be INSANE BRING BACK SUNSET RIDERS , LMAO
Video #25 Posted October 14, 2008 Iron Soldier was one of my favorite series from the Jaguar, that being on Gameboy would have been the shizzy (well, GBA, but still) I would have loved to see it, and heck, the GBA didn't get a good mech game anyways, did it? And it could have handled this.
