1600 points = $15.97

4000 points = $39.87

 

Have no clue how long it will last.

Meh,after shipping,it comes out about the same (well considering I get a 10% employee discount where I work).Any way Amazon can drop the shipping and just email the code?

Here's the thing....

Shippings free if you order $25 or more. Plus you dont pay for tax.

You could have snag two 1600 points cards and have saved $8.04, figure in tax, and you'd have save about $10 or a free 800 point Arcade game.

 

I went for the 4000 point card. It cost me $39.87

 

Thats a saving of about $10.12 plus around lets say another $2.50 for tax (If your sales tax is only 5%, round here its like 6 or 7 %)

 

Total savings = $12.62 off retail.

 

In comparison, 10% off retail price of $49.99 = $4.99 (Plus you probably pay the full sales tax, so we'll call it a savings of $2.49

 

Clearly the Amazon deal was the much better deal.

Unfortunately...It's over.

Gotta be quick.

I'll let you know next time I see them on sale.

 

EDIT : Actually they are still offering the 4000 points cards for sale at $39.97 (Check under the alternate "used & new" link.)

Unfortunately they aren't in stock and it says 3 - 5 weeks to ship.

Both 1600 and 4000 still show on sale and in stock. I hope they are there tomorrow I'll pick up some. I'm going to need them for all the Rock Band 2 song downloads.
