Nightdriver - Pole Position II Trade Offer

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a GORGEOUS Atari Night Driver (Photo's available upon request) available. I love it, works and looks great, but my wife would like a game in our home arcade that we can both enjoy and Night Driver isn't for her. So I am looking to do a trade with anyone in the NorthEast area who would want to do a trade for a Pole Position II upright. This Night Driver is prestine condition and I would want a Pole Position II in equally great shape.

If anyone is interested, please email me. Thanks

Curt

Curt,

Just how many arcade machines do you have? I would love to see a photo of your room of machines :) (I love to visit others homes via the net ;-) haha....

Well, here are some of the games. I actually had 27 at one point, but I had to cut back a lot, I donated a bunch of machines up to Fun Spot in New Hampshire to their Classic Coin-op Arcade. My yellow Computer Space is in London right now on display in the Game On exhibit next to Archer McCleans blue one. The store kiosks and some other arcades I have are up in the garage right now, this weekend I'm laying down the hardwood floor in the new office, so once that's done I have the front section of the office built to accomodore quite a few kiosks/coin-ops, then the archive area for all of the file cabinets, a workbench for building electronics and repairing equipment and a long countertop area with the main computer equipment, 800 equipment and a Vax 4000-20 setup. I'll have some more photo's when its done.

A Vax 4000. We had several of those where I use to work. I use to have a PDP-8, 11/34, and 11/70 sold them when I moved. Anyone remember those big noisy LA100's and 120's? How about a Gigi, or a VT100?

I love those monster VT100's, they were just so cool, way to big to spare the deskspace for one these days, I simply use Hyperterminal on my PC with a custom spliced dp9 to mmj cable I made that plugs into the console port on the KA660 processor board of the 4000.

I used to play Conquest with a bunch of friends in College on the VT100s in the computer lab, man you got like a dozen people playing Conquest (Star Trek game, very good too, there are Unix and even Linux versions of it) man that game used to bring the Vax 11/750 to its knees! The SysAdmin's pulled it off of the system shortly after, it was never the same after that :-(

Curt,

Man, what a room! If a game is anything, its in that room. Remember all, that is no ordinary Pong machine!

Great looking game room, seriously. Looks like it all came together. Now to clutter the walls with great looking game posters!

I'm working on some neon signs and having my Atari arcade posters mounted to "clutter the walls" ;-) Cassidy, you have any good connections on Coca Cola vending machines??? I'd like to get on for the other side of the arcade.
