Original 1977 Atari label driving paddle controller. Rare?

I have both of these driving paddles with the different label variations. Can anyone tell how rare the one on the right is? How much its worth? I believe it was only made in 1977, is that correct?

That's pretty rare! Even more than the paddles made in the same fashion. Pretty good find you got there.

Cool find! You're right that these were the early style Driving controllers sold roughly from 1977 - 1978

 

It is indeed rare than the one on the left that says "driving"

 

Usually, they are worth a few bucks more on their own, but boxed with the gatefold 11 Indy 500 with large outer box (with hanger) is worth even more.

Rarer, I wouldn't say "rare". Boxed paddles of the later model still sell for around $15 NOS. I could see maybe about that for these loose, $20 at the most. And the sixer and its controllers were '77 through early (Spring I believe) '78. I'd say the demand for the sixer joysticks as a "rare" commodity is higher.

What about the Sears labeled driving controllers vs. the Atari labeled ones? Are they more or less common?
