Anyone familiar with Ski hunt?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone was familiar with ski hunt and its origin? I can see it in the list as Home vision, Mine is called ski dodge-em with an action high tech label, Im sure High tech is a highly credited firm,,,,

Most taiwan games i have a pretty bad but this is actually quite a good game. A skiing game where you get to shoot the wildlife? Any info in regards to this fine title would be great.

Ok, 3 post for new topics, No reply?

Heres the deal

I live in australia, I've been playing games for what seems like eternity. I love the ataris and came across this group while searching for a 7800. Did a trade with a member and am now exremely happy. Given that i am a newbie i need help with almost everything. It is great to see that such different games where released depending on location as it varies so much as to what is available to me and what was released in the states.,,,,,,,

Point being is that i would like to contribute and also get as much help as possible.

Cheers

I have never heard of ski-hunt, but then again I deal mostly in North American stuff, so I doubt I would have.

Sounds cool, though, as long as they are video game wildlife, that is! :)

Nice to have you on board. Hope I can be of better help in the future!

I am not sure, but maybe its the same as

Mountain Man (ITT Family Games)

Ski Hunt (HomeVision)

Winterjagd (Quelle)

I am not sure, but I think its a PAL only game.

I don't like the game. You must hunt animals. This is a very stupid game.

Awesome, learn something new every day, I had no idea there where PAL only releases for any system let alone the atari. Ive played the rom on stella which gives different colors so i assume it is a pal only after all.

Stan, trust me, you've been a help just from reading other posts.

Matty, stoopid i know, But i gather i like it in a stupid way.

Ah well, time to go through the rest of my skull and crossbone labelled carts.

Reading a little about this cart made me kind of curious about it. Not a game I'm very familiar with. Surfing around the net didn't yield much info, but I did find a short review of the game at Digital Press (fairly positive) and some scans of a Taiwanese pirated version at the AGH museum. ( The instructions from the back of the box are kind of amusing.)

A very unusual concept for a game. :ponder: You just never know what you may run across in the world of Atari...
