Starfire Level 4 Problem

As you saw in my "cybergoth collection complete" thread I got Star Fire for the VCS yesterday, the game is great and gameplay is awesome BUT I am having a problem, At level 4 I blast all the TIE Fighters and then no portal appears to take me to level 5, I just float endlessly through space with nothing left to shoot No multi hit bonus ship at all and no more TIE Fighters. Is there a problem with my cart or am I missing something?

Yep. It's a dark gray. If your TV isn't adjusted properly, you'll never see it.

There is no "brightness knob" on the tv I use, it is automatic adjusted so I guess I will just play until that level and then hope to hit it with random shots (that has worked a couple times). Still a VERY cool game.

Is there any adjustment knob? Picture? Contrast? Level?

Settings like these on newer TVs are commonly accessed via menus using the remote.

 

Some TVs might have menu buttons on the TV as well, on mine the on-the-TV buttons are hidden behind pop-out panel.
