Super Mario Advance Speed Runs (GBA)

Well tonight I ran through Super Mario Advance nonstop on a speed run and got the time of 00:24:25:78, that is 24 minutes, 25 seconds, and 78 tenths. It was not altogether the BEST time, as I died at least 7 times. Not exactly what I was planning. I Googled "Super Mario Advance Speed Runs" and saw none, so, I can set the first standards I guess. It's an awesome game of forgotten glory, that I just started picking up to play again on my ORIGINAL Game Boy Advance Glacier. I had fun. Times will improve on this race. Here in the attached file is my first ever recorded time. Like I said, they will get MUCH better. This game has glitches that I know will help me out. Oh the good times when I was younger when the Game Boy Advance hit the shelves...

Well I never got that done yesterday at all. I could not seem to play through the game once. Today I hope I'll have better luck.

Those times are much better than my best time at Mario 2: USA. My best time is, let's see here.... infinity. I've never finished this game, at all.

Current best is: 0:9:15 w/ warps, 0:26:36 no warps. Also, 0:11:17 on the SNES (PAL). They host videos, too, if you want to pick up some tips.

Wow I totally suck at this game. I guess cause it's different from all the other mario games. It's cool though, but I've only beaten it a couple of times and I know those times were horrendus.

Record is 9:15 with warps, your time is ~16:00.

 

That's ok, probably better than most people. But you've got a way to go.

 

And why don't you just use the regular font? It's pretty annoying when you use a giant font for every word in every post; and what's with the trailing random color tags?

Oh I've only just started the speed runs. They will get better. And I type with this font cause I like it. and I don't know hat's up with the trailing tags.

I think it's the same font they use on that online RPG "Dragon Court."

Well, it's not orange. The color tags seem to be broken (though congrats on continuing to use them, maybe they'll work on your next post! Just keep trying! ), but whether they work or not you still have to wrap them around the text not just append them at the end. In any case, using a giant font is annoying as all hell. And we all know what that means...

I sucked at this game last night. Died three times on the speed run. I just turned it off and went to bed. I was so far, and so frustrated when that happened.
