Kyphus from Apollo and Locomotion from M-Network have already been found.

General Re-Treat/Westward Ho was released and IIRC In Search of the Golden Skull and Pink Panther have also been found.

I also meant, that the rom of those games could be freely accessible

couldnt find Kyphus

and Pink panther has been found but never released

Ah Ok! Unfortunately there a few protos out there that haven't been dumped yet or the rom wasn't made available like Good Luck Charlie Brown, Locomotion, Anteater, Pink Panther etc.

But here's the Kyphus rom.

The red ones are known to exist.

Astrobattle and Space Robot are Dimax / Sinmax games, not Ultravision.

I have a feeling Quest for the Idol is just another name for Inca Gold. Given the strong Ultravision/Funvision connection this makes sense.

Very well possible.

Astro Battle and Space Robot are probably pirates of the two Dimax/sinmax games.

Not pirates, but original Dimax / Sinmax titles:

I think Astrobattle was eventually released as Astrowar:

Mission Impossible is still a mystery to me.

9 to 5 (not released) -WIP name, released as Bank Heist - 9 to 5 has nothing to do with Bank Heist. Catalog description: “A secretary's work is never done: dictation, typing letters, filing, and it all has to be done on time. Now, the boss wants coffee, and time is running short. Can she keep up with the pace?"

Smokey the Bear (not released) - may have been found - You mean the 'Bear Game' proto from SEGA?

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (not released) -found, not dumped to public - Any evidence of that?

Loco-Motion (not released) -found, not dumped - AFAIK this one is dumped, but not released to the public.

Mission X (not released) -found, not dumped to public - Only this has been found:

http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=20654

Star Wars: Revenge of the Jedi -- Game 2 (not released) -not progamed, just a mock up box - This one was released as RotJ - Death Star Battle.

Yeah, wasn't Bank Heist's original title Bonnie and Clyde?

Yep.

Known WIP names of Bank Heist were:

Bonnie and Clyde

Holdup

Roaring 20's

Roaring 20's thats what I was thinking of :dunce: Also ROTJ game 2 was a skiff desert game nothing even remotely close to Death Star Battle. The game would have had a totally different kernel, ect. Where did you here Jabba's Skiff turned into Death Star Battle? And in regards to AD&D, the blue sky rangers have all the mattel games on that list in different states of completion. And yes I personally think "Bear Game" could very well be Smokey The Bear but thats just my personal opinion.

DP: Can you tell me anything about the Game I and Game II prototype boxes?

Larry Gelberg: Yeah, I remember seeing those images - they were just placeholders for trade shows and catalogs generated by PB's internal art department. Game II became Death Star Battle. I have no idea about the artwork used. Generally PB went out-of-house for much of the cover art. I used to have a copy of the Hildebrandt cover - it was pretty neat with an AT-ST shooting down a hang glider carrying a terrified-looking Ewok. I had a whole package of Ewok-related stuff - the cover art, a full printout of the source code, and another NTSC prototype that I gave away to a friend's brother about 15 years ago. He's tried to locate it, but thinks it might be in a moving box in a storage center somewhere in Connecticut. It might be worth trying to dig up!

And in regards to AD&D, the blue sky rangers have all the mattel games on that list in different states of completion.

You're talking about D&D III?

That one became ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS TOWER OF MYSTERY Cartridge

And yes I personally think "Bear Game" could very well be Smokey The Bear but thats just my personal opinion.

Well, Smokey Bear (not Smokey the Bear) was announced by Data Age, not by SEGA and I don't think kids were allowed to shoot at Smokey with a gun.

Besides that, the "Bear Game" proto was similar to a SEGA circuit board:

Game 2 was for sure nothing like Death Star Battle. Game 2 might have been scraped in favor of making DSB but there is no way in hell they are one in the same.

FYI: that's Larry Gelberg talking again.

Couple more vapourware games that weren't mentioned. I saw in a Silica Shop game mag (Uk Gamers will remember this famous store) back in 83 two games by Imagic that were suppossed to be coming soon. They were Scuba and Zone. The price was set for 29.99 sterling. I asked Rob Fulop if he knew about these two but he said no ;)
