Artlover #27 Posted November 30, 2008 So, did you install a distinct "passenger seat", or are you just trying to cram carry them in a normal tray?I didn't have much problem with it... I have a taxi in my list of vehinculars. I'd assume it already came with a passenger seat? Guess I'll have to actually take some of my vehiculars and look at them in the garage. That's part of the risks of such a neat, open-ended, more than one way to approach it game! Anyway, I completely adore this game. The Mario 64-like "any order" challenge structure, the rich hub world I do concure with this. It is nice having this kind of a game on the 360. For the record, I found Mario 64 tricky and complicated too. From a UI point of view, the vehicle editor is INSANELY polished and well done. And then learning the physics of it in the Test Track... just great. Yeah, it is actually. I guess I need to start using it more.

hex65000 #29 Posted November 16, 2009 Resurrecting an old thread... Since this has hit the $20 mark on Amazon, I opted to snag it. I did a marathon session of about 6-7 hrs yesterday and have had fun exploring the worlds in the game, modifying vehicles to meet a variety of needs. Once you score the high-grip tires from beating the witch the first time that helped a ton as far as maintaining control of the vehicle, the other thing has been for me widening my wheel base to up the stability. The taxi level is easier if you have two passenger seats on your vehicle -- all you have to do is keep the passengers from falling out. Hence the stability issue I mentioned earlier. Getting the Jiggy was easy. Getting the speed Trophy was a pain. Other notes: Propellers on land will bump your speed and 'hang time' so you can truck at a good clip underwater and you glide a bit if you pop off a hill or ramp too. Do not mix standard and high grip wheels on your drive wheel pair. You get wonky control and you'll likely spin out a lot. Engines, fuel tanks, and ammo pods are stackable. You can always reduce weight a little bit by using light body parts in less vulnerable locations and heavier parts where damage is more likely to occur. Stack a box on your trolley cart in town to get a little more reach to higher places. The Jingo search quests have a timer, but no serious limit. You can always run around and look for the item, and then restart the quest after you find it. It'll make your time better. I don't know if it buys you anything, but it's a pretty easy thing to make the game go smoother. The Egg Launcher is your friend in the early stages. Use it in the first witch fight for a quick win. Keep revs on your blueprints when possible. Some mods just don't work out. Hope to play some more tonight before bed. Hex. Video #30 Posted November 16, 2009 I thoughtit was a PS exclusive. But if it's on the X-bo, I may have to pick this game up. It's cutsy graphics and the action platformer action are just what I've been missing for a few years now.
Silverfleet #31 Posted November 17, 2009 I picked this up over the weekend for a whopping $11! I really enjoyed the original back when it was new. I look forward to playing it as soon as I finish Ghostbusters.
