Scot from S.C. #1 Posted September 6, 2002 I was wondering if the company Wizard only made two carts for the 2600, or for that matter, any Atari system? The games that I am referring to are Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Thanks.
Tempest #2 Posted September 6, 2002 Yes they only made the two games. A third game called Flesh Gordon (based off the soft core porn movie) was planned, but I don't think that ever got started. A prototype of that would be nice though... Tempest
Scot from S.C. #3 Posted September 6, 2002 Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that they had some other neat games out there. I guess I will have to wait for Sniderman's game to come out to add to my collection of horror type games.
Snider-man #4 Posted September 6, 2002 I workin' on it! I'm workin' on it! <whip cracks overhead and Sniderman gets back to codin'>

A prototype of that would be nice though... It was never shown at CES.
Scot from S.C. #6 Posted September 6, 2002 Hey Sniderman, I just ordered your Blair Witch game last week. I hope it comes today so I can give it a spin. Let me know when you get done with Ravenous Dead. I am ready for it. I need to learn how to program like you guys. I would love to make a couple of games based on Salem's Lot and Children of the Corn. Anyway, have a good one and keep me informed of your progress. Tempest #10 Posted September 7, 2002 Did he have a game design worked up yet? I'm kind of curious as to what the game would have looked like. Tempest
moycon #11 Posted September 10, 2002 I seem to recall seeing ads for Flesh Gordon.... I believe in Fangoria magazine back in the early eighties. The ad from what I remember was the Flesh Gordon movie poster graphics I cant remember what else as far as text . It seems odd they would bother putting out an ad if there was nothing done on the game at all.... don't you think??? They at least had to have someone in a marketing department working on it. Man that would be a great find.
J-DEE #12 Posted September 10, 2002 Enclosed is a link to one of their ads on Tommorow Heroes, Tom Zabas sight. http://tomheroes.com/Video%20Games%20FS/ga...0ads/wizard.htm
moycon #13 Posted September 11, 2002 Yup.... Thats the ad I remember seeing. Hmmmm re-reading it now.... It sounds an awful lot like the 20th Century Fox game... Flash Gordon.... Doesn't it???
CrazyImpmon #14 Posted September 11, 2002 Well, what did you expect? Flesh Gordon is a parody of Flash, and for all we know, Flesh Gordon game could have been a hack of Flash Gordon. Anyone care to try and hack the Flash Gordon for this?
