2600 Jr. pictures

Having never seen a 2600 Jr. except in pictures, I've never seen what one looks like with a cartridge inserted. I'm curious how far into the unit the cartridges go. Do they go in shallow as in a 2600A woody? Or deep as in a 7800 or Sears Video Arcade II? Ot totally different?

 

Would someone be willing to post a few pictures?

here you go. cart inserted. donkey kong showing. pretty shallow. just the edge. Had a different cart and picture, this one is better.

that really puts things in perspective. The Jr. really is tiny and the slot is very, very shallow.

Wow, I have never seen a Jr in the real world either, seriously small, maybe I will invest in one and put it in the spare space in my Atari 800

I totally recommend getting one. I have one on my desk for quick game and controller testing. It's even hooked up to a really tiny TV! Does not take up much room at all.
