Starhopper
Arguably, the slik stik was one of the sturdiest constructed sticks for the 2600 (from a concept standpoint, anyway). . . Has anyone else had any issues with theirs just deciding it didn't want to work anymore? I had one from the early days that decided it no longer wanted to go right. In the last few months, I've gotten my hands on five more that don't work in one or more directions. I've even tried to buff the contact points and ball with emory cloth. Is the universe against me, or have others suffered this?
+remowilliams
It's probably cord damage, every one I've ever seen that had issues was cord damage. The internals are nearly as bulletproof as you can get.
+5-11under
The fire button on mine needs some TLC, but the directions are fine. 5-11under
sandmountainslim
Sounds like the cord to me also. Mine does this from time to time and I give the cord a good shaking and all is well. Wp
