+therealbountybob #1 Posted December 4, 2008 How about one of you Atari Geniuses or is that Geni-i have a go at fixing some of the games that are unplayable or impossible (I saw a thread somewhere where Electrician had been fixed) Two I can think of are Phantom (think you cannot get past part 2,2 no matter what you do?) Firefleet (there is a block of scenery that needs removing from level 3 as you cannot squeeze your ship past it. I even hacked a copy giving 255 lives one day and lost them alll trying, sad but true ) Thanks Anyone got any others
xxl #2 Posted December 4, 2008 http://patch.atari.pl/index.php select phantom, insert phantom.atr/.com/.xex - patch and download proper version.
Rybags #3 Posted December 4, 2008 Years ago I patched Red Max. NFI if it needed it to be able to finish the game, but I remember part of the last (?) level had a bit that was impossible to get past, so I just removed the offending rock.
www.atarimania.com #4 Posted December 4, 2008 The disk release of Phantom appears to be fine - the real ATR file, not the crappy "fake" ATR images - but it seems there was a f***-up when duplicating the tape versions so the final levels are missing. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
+Allan #5 Posted December 4, 2008 I'd love to see a file version of Midimaze so that you could run it on a real memory-expanded Atari. I'd really love to have a match with someone. Allan
