Warriorisabouttodie
I've played quite a few Gauntlet style games for the PC, but none have been very good. My fav 2d game of this type was Alien Breed Deluxe on the Amiga. That has changed. Check out this awesome Gauntlet game for free! Believe me it's worth the 40mb download. Sorry I was referring to the NES version which never seemed to have an ending to them and I was just wondering if this was the same way. Inky
Am I assuming this was made with GameMaker? EDIT: Yep, it is. Pretty snazzy loking, but the level intro, and being unable to kill death annoys me. Edited December 6, 2008 by Inky

carmel_andrews
Inky....if i recall correctly, death can only be got shot of with one or a handful of potions.....or perhaps they overlooked that aspect of the game
Goochman
The Atari ST version is the definitive home computer one - Gauntlet II is even better on the ST
carmel_andrews
shame that the st version of gauntlet I sent you boss-eyed....obviously USG didn't get Steve Bak to do the scrolling routines (and that's a man who knows how to scroll an ST....backwards)
