buckvarjassy #1 Posted December 11, 2008 Hey folks. After some internet searching, I have come across this forum, which I think might be helpful with my problem. I am about to purchase my second arcade game, and thought there might be some really helpful knowledge and advice in this forum that I could benefit from. I am about to purchase a stand up (I don't think there was ever a cocktail version) New Zealand Story from a guy in town here. The game was originally in a star wars cabinet I think, but I got him to at least transfer it into a different cabinet more suited for the game. It's just a plain-jane cabinet with a pretty beat up green taito logo on the side. Everything seems to be in working order and the screen looks good. He is asking $275 for the unit, but I'm hoping to grab it for around $200. I don't think this price is unrealistic, what do you guys think? I am in the middle of trying to find some pictures I took of it, so i can at least show you guys the cabinet it is going into. My main problem though is artwork. I am having no luck trying to find artwork for this game. I would like get a new marquee, bezel and control panel overlay for this game, but can't find a place that sells it. Also, I am really struggling to even find pictures of what this game looked like. Does anybody, have one of these? Or know somebody who does, or knows where there is one so you could take some pictures for me? I'm really struggling to find some information. Now if I can't find any artwork for the sides, I was thinking of trying to get the taito symbol at least to put on there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys! buckvarjassy #2 Posted December 12, 2008 Ok, I found some of the pictures I have. The first one is of the old star wars cabinet that it's in, and the second picture is of the cabinet that he put it in.

Crazy Climber #4 Posted January 4, 2009 I would have kept it in the Star Wars cabinet, just for the artwork. The jungle King cabinet is also nice, and smaller which can help if you have limited space
buckvarjassy #5 Posted January 15, 2009 $^&^(&%!!!!! He already sold it! I did find the name of another guy in town though, and after contacting him, he said he's pretty sure he still has one too. No idea about the cabinet or anything. He said he has roughly +/-350 cabinet games though. I'll be sure to take some pics once I meet with the guy and post what all he has.
