way too detailed, but.... variations in simulated woodgrain?

i haven't really checked, but does the simulated woodgrain on the 2600 have variations? if so, does anyone collect the variations?

I know this much: I have Atari 4 and 6 switch systems, same basic woodgrain. However, I also have a Sears telegames system, and it's woodgrain is different from the Atari ones.

Say, that is pretty cool! I just checked my two 6 switchces and they have different grains...... but I wonder how many variations there are ...??

 

And what the meaning of this is in the big picture of life....

When I mentioned the Sears Telegames unit having different grain, I mean it is signifacntly different. The VCS's pictured above, while having different grain, look like they could be from the same "tree". My (and probably all) Sears units look like they are made from different "wood".

Please note the smaller, darker grain. Like rosewood, perhaps. THAT, is what i was speaking of. Sure the various VCS systems may have different patterens, but all the same kind of wood. These ones are different! :)
