Should a Neo Geo 6 slot have to die?

Recommended Posts

I'm at a crossroads as to what to do with my Neo 6 slot. I had it in storage, and can't keep paying $270 a month for what I had stored with it, so I was brining it home last night. This sucker has to be in the 500 lb range. Anyways, I have two 30" doors, and one 29" door on my house... it isn't getting in. I considered a window that is 36" wide but only 28" tall... I tried for hours, and hurt horribly today from all the trying.

If I take the six games, motherboard, marquee, overlay, and everything off it may get $350ish. It is a Genuine SNK but it is ugly, and that isn't going for it. I bought it on eBay for $350 + $350 frieght (I wouldn't have bought if I knew about the size issue and frieght cost, I was quoted $199 before I won) and it fit in my old office building for a good year before I closed up shop and had to store it.

I'm so used to restoring stuff it hurts to kill this machine. I just don't know what other options to consider, other than perhaps posting it without stuff on criags list. No one is going to pay $700 local for the rig as it sits because the sides are in crap shape.

I want to keep the carts, I still have and fit the 2slot and 4slot in my house. (not as wide)
