sandmountainslim #1 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) Over the years how much do you think you have spent on Pac-Man? Of course I don't have any idea how many quarters I put in the machines back in the olden times but I know I have spent the following and this is just counting the original game not Ms. Pac or any of the sequels. 3 Downloads to different Verizon phones of Pac at around 7 dollars each 3 dollars for a used NES Pac Man cartridge 10 bucks for a Pac cart for the original Game Boy 20 bucks from the AA Store for Pac Man Arcade Very likely a couple hundred dollars dropped in arcades playing it back in the 80's. I didn't count any money for the Atari Pac Man cart I have because it came with my 2600 when I recieved it for my birthday. What about you? fdurso224 #2 Posted December 20, 2008 Hey Fonzie, I don't as much as I used to. But I always like to give it a go on Xbox Live when I have a chance. I say a good 10-15 minutes each time i'm on. Anthony....
jboypacman #3 Posted December 20, 2008 Way too much and you would think i would be a decent Pac-Man player after spending all of these years with it but no such luck.
nester #4 Posted December 20, 2008 I don't think I've ever played the arcade version of Pac-Man, although I have spent countless dollars playing Ms. Pac-Man. I do however have Pac-Man for 2600, 5200, NES, Game Boy, and Playstation.
Atarifever #5 Posted December 20, 2008 Not sure which I have bought new and which I have bought used, but I have (or have had) it on 2600, NES, GBA, 7800, and Gamecube. I will probably download it on the Wii this Christmas. Once you throw in any Pacman game it's a much longer list, including Pacman World games, PacMan Wolrd Rally, and any Ms. Pacman games I have ever come across. And then there's the ton of quarters to Ms. Pacman machines. And some Pacman merchandise. Oh, and I think my wife has me the PacMan Coleco tabletop for Christmas. littleman jack #14 Posted December 21, 2008 Quite a bit. Yikes! 2600 Pac-Man, 2600 Ms. Pac-Man, 2600 Jr. Pac-Man, 5200 Pac-Man, Atari 800 Pac-Man Atari 800 Super Pac-Man Atari 800 Ms. Pac-Man Atari 800 Jr. Pac-Man Atari 7800 Pac-Man Collection Atari 7800 Ms. Pac-Man Plug and Play Namco Game NES Pac-Man Sega Genesis Ms. Pac-Man Namco Collection for N64 Namco Collection for Game Cube Pac-Man Collection for Game Boy SP Namco Collection for Game Boy SP Pac-Man for original Game Boy Ms. Pac-Man for original Game Boy NES Classics Pac-Man Reissue for Game Boy SP Coleco Table Top Pac-Man Coleco Table Top Ms. Pac-Man hours and hours on the arcade machines and if this counts, Pac-Man World Rally on Game Cube. I really love Pac-Man games. I've been quite tempted to get the Xbox 360 for the Championship Edition (plus Geometry Wars and Defender), but bills keep my money going elsewhere, and the 2600 and 800 divert any spare money at this time. Dauber #15 Posted December 21, 2008 Hmm.....I have all the "official" Pac-Man games for the Atari 2600 -- got those as presents when they came out... But...let's see.... Ms. Pac-Man for the 7800 -- I'm pretty sure that came with it when I bought it a couple of years ago; the console plus all the games that came with it cost me about $30... Pac-Man Arcade for 2600 -- think I paid $20 for that... Pac-Man Collection! for 7800 -- [am I the only one who notices the exclamation point in the title?] -- whatever the cost was when it first came out. Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man for iPod -- $5 each I too have purchased Ms. Pac-Man three times for cell phones; I'm gonna round that off to $20. Also bought Pac-Man for my second cell phone; probably cost $5. Super Pac-Man for my current cell phone, I think $6. Namco Museum Vol. 1 for PSX -- I bought this for something like $4 at GameStop a few years ago... Really, all the Pac-Man games I've spent money on, despite being a really major Pac-Man fan, really isn't all that much! Thank God for Christmas and birthdays.
