tiggerthehun #3 Posted September 9, 2002 Centipede - now that's a game! Anyone read the "Twin Galaxies Record Book", with the stories from Walter Day at the end? I love his stories of how he wants to master Centipede. I'd love to see someone REALLY GOOD play someday. I stink!
NE146 #4 Posted September 9, 2002 If you're interested in some of the advanced strategies used in arcade Centipede back in the day, Joystik magazine published some pretty cool ones. Luckily they've been scanned and put online for any who's interested. Links are as follows (Basically it's from pages 22 - 27): Intro: http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...83/jan83-23.JPG "Tunnel Strategy" http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...83/jan83-24.JPG "Blob Strategy" http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...83/jan83-25.JPG "Safety Zone Strategy" http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...83/jan83-26.jpg "Trap Strategy" http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...83/jan83-27.JPG have fun
