G4 Icons and Game Makers: Anybody have these recorded?

Back when G4 was awesome and was completely devoted to video games, they had a great show on called Icons (and a spin-off called Game Makers) in which they discussed the history of many video game franchises, consoles, designers, etc. By the looks of this guide on tv.com, there are TONS of great and interesting episodes.

 

I'm just curious, did anybody ever record these? I would be extremely interesting in buying a dvd of these as well as I'm sure plenty of other people would be as well.

 

Anyway, if you've never checked this show out, I highly recommend you check out the following episodes. (Edit: I went ahead and added all of the episodes from youtube that I could find. Please add any that you find that are missing)

I don't have any of season 5 (I think this is when they changed the format) but I have seasons 1 - 4. The only episode I don't have is 408 - George A. Romero because I wasn't interested in that one.

 

Do you have access to usenet? This is where I grabbed most of them from.

Wow, I'm glad to hear some people actually have some of these. I'm going to have to get these after Christmas.

I haven't used usenet before; is it as easy as bittorrent? Even if it isn't I don't care, I'll do what it takes to get these. Any info you can provide on getting these would be much appreciated.

Hi Adam,

 

Yes, I've recorded them on VHS and I have 4 or 5 tapes of them full with episodes of Icons ( AKA Gamemakers). I usually tape them without doubles. So 1 episode of each without commercials.

 

I wish they made more.

It's been so long since I got these I forgot the group I downloaded them from I'll see if I can do some more fishing but it was something like alt.binaries.emulators or something dealing with retro gaming I think.

Any chance you'd be willing to burn them onto a few dvds and send them? I'd be willing to pay like $30 if you'd do that. They wouldn't need to be formatted, they could just be data dvds.
