My best friend from high school is a legend! (of Zelda)

Sweet merciful crap!

 

My best friend through high school moved to LA my sophomore year of college.

The guy could play the guitar like nobody I have ever heard.

I thought he would find a band on the other coast and be huge.

 

I lost touch with him in 1992.

 

Thanks to the horrible timesink called Facebook I found him again and we started talking.

Holy shit! He is in Zelda's Adventure for the CD-i ! Craptacular Zelda from Hell !

He's a freakin' legend after all ! ! ! !

 

That's the greatest story I have ever heard. I HAD that game. I PLAYED that game. I HATED that game. But that was my best friend from High School and had NO idea. How nuts is THAT !

 

That's just freakin' amazing! ! !

I should add that he is the live action old guy...

I was blown away.

I mean, we're talking slumber parties, camp and everything together.

I PLAYED the stupid game and had no idea it was him.

How insane is that?

 

He also did the music for the game.

He said that the receptionist was Zelda.

I've had something similar happen. A friend of my buddy's wife turned out to be one of the original voice actors from Lunar. Small world, eh? Of course, I live in the town where working designs used to be, so i guess it's not that odd. We usd to sneak games out of their dumpster and try to resurface them, as my friend Tony worked in the flat above working designs.

 

That's awesome your buddy is in Zelda though. That game was beyond dreadful, and therefore, completely hilarious.
