+remowilliams #2 Posted December 31, 2008 I think it's really cool. I also think Netflix is missing like 95% of the stuff I want to watch 'instantly'
the.golden.ax #3 Posted December 31, 2008 Well, I know that the number of titles isn't awesome, but if they keep putting up scifi box sets its worth it to me. We have been watching Heros, Dr.Who, Sliders, Star Trek its worth the $17 for live/basic netflix if you watch one box set in a month. I'm sure we will get through more than that. If they don't add more though, I can see where it would stop being fun. AX
CGQuarterly #4 Posted December 31, 2008 Do they have Star Trek: TNG on there? I have Netflix but not XBL Gold, but I would upgrade to gold if the movie selection is good enough (I don't really play online). Chris
nonner242 #5 Posted December 31, 2008 Im diggin it for $9 a month!
moycon #6 Posted December 31, 2008 It's great. I love old cheesy horror flicks so the selection of movies kicks ass to me!! I rarely use the service though. always too busy playing games.
Lord Helmet #7 Posted December 31, 2008 I find it works really well. I wish there was more HD content...but as cheap as it is there is a ton of great stuff, especially if you like watching TV shows.

slip81 #9 Posted January 2, 2009 on the xbox side of things, the service is great, the only problem i have with the netflix side is that certain movies have expiration dates. i mean when you factor in both the monthly fees i'm paying roughly $30 for this feature, i should be able to watch any movie they have whenever i want. NE146 #10 Posted January 2, 2009 I haven't tried it because I don't have a Netflix account.. primarily since I don't watch movies.
rxd #11 Posted January 6, 2009 I agree it's awesome. I haven't even been putting movies in my que to be sent to me because I just pick an instant movie/tv show...
STGuy1040 #12 Posted January 6, 2009 I'm Loving Netflix on 360, what do you all think? AX I've debated on subscribing to the service, but seeing all the positive feedback in this thread is encouraging.
Hyper_Eye #13 Posted January 6, 2009 I was using Netflix Instant View before it was on 360 but I had to use it in a virtual machine because it does not work in Linux. Now I just turn on the 360 and start the movie/show/whatever. My wife and I are currently watching the series Jericho on Instant View. I love this service. I hope they get more content on there. MCHufnagel #14 Posted January 7, 2009 We were debating on going with Blockbuster Online (we're long time Blockbuster members) or going with Netflix. Being able to use the Xbox 360 was the clncher. We joined a month and a half ago and we're happy we joined. There are rumors about Hulu and Youtube being available down the road and if this happens, I'll probably buy another 360 to hook up to another tv. +Cafeman #15 Posted January 27, 2009 Question - I already subscribe to Netflix. Will I have to subscribe to something ("Live" ??) to use my new Xbox360 w/netflix?

moycon #17 Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) Question - I already subscribe to Netflix. Will I have to subscribe to something ("Live" ??) to use my new Xbox360 w/netflix? They've been selling 13 month Live Gold cards for $29.99 lately. Comes out to around $2.30 a month. Well worth it in my opinion. My mom is visiting us and she's been using it every day to watch old classic movies from the 30's and 40's. Edited January 27, 2009 by moycon
+Cafeman #18 Posted January 27, 2009 that's not too expensive. I just would hate to pay more for the Netflix thing since I already pay for the 3-DVD at a time deal. But I'd use the Gold Live for online playing mostly, and the netflix thing is just a perk so I don't have to download and watch on the stupid old PC monitor. Blech. Mind you, I haven't purchased the X360 yet but will in Feb or March. There are several games I'm interested in but Street Fighter 4 is the final straw, must get that. So I'm researching the versions of hardware etc etc.

Ax Buy.com was selling it off eBay for the same price and free shipping. Also Amazon recently was selling it for that price. Currently they are back to $38.99 which still isn't bad. You can find sites that will give you heads up on sales. http://xbox.joystiq.com/category/deals-and-bargains/
yuppicide #21 Posted January 30, 2009 I wanted to try Netflix, but it requires a credit card to charge the first month's fee. If I don't like it I can cancel within 2 weeks. Screw that. I didn't have $9 bucks, so oh well.
