Games Beaten In 2009!

Recommended Posts

Plus now with MP Trilogy out I'm not sure if I should go back and finish up the last 15-25% of MP3 or if I should wait and buy MP Trilogy and play them all in order

Easy. Since the Trilogy reportedly doesn't recognize MP3 savegames, it IMO doesn't make sense to still put any energy into it :ponder:

Since it's a Nintendo game, the price will never drop and I'm not sure if I really want to spend $50 on a game that I already own a third of. ;)

eBay ;)

Just knocked off Speedy Gonzales: Los Gatos Bandidos for the SNES. What a great platforming game, if you see it somewhere, snag it and enjoy!

Just beat "Wings 2 - Aces High" for the SNES.

Can't really recommend playing it, it's nothing compared to the original Wings on the Amiga...

Boy you aren't kidding. That game drove me mad, mad I tell you!

Please add for me, with a hearty sigh of relief:

Just beat The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (GBA) with Aragorn; working through with Legolas now. Good fun.

Ended up going through TLotR: TTT as Aragorn, Legolas, and Gandalf.

And just beat Cruis'N USA (N64) last night. I was winning race after race and remarking to my wife, "Gosh, this is easier than I remembered!" Then beat it and went into options: Oh. I had it on the lowest difficulty. :lolblue:

The graphics are VERY rough on this one, but still kind of fun in a mindless way.

Brings me to:

Metroid: Zero Mission (GBA)

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube)

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (GBC)

Halo 2 (Xbox)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

The Conduit (Wii)

Cyclomaniacs (Flash/online)

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (GBA)

Cruis'N USA (N64)

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (GBC)

I've been having some fun with this during my morning and evening commutes of late. Were you able to get all the Yoshi eggs in Challenge mode? Good lord that's a feat if so. I'm working my way through You vs Boo and Lost Levels right now. Great cart

Forgot to mention; while watching the credits roll after beating Cruis'N USA I was surprised to see Eugene Jarvis' name pop up. I didn't know he had done the Cruis'N games.

EDIT: Another amusing tidbit, gleaned from the credits:

The model for the "trophy girl" was Anutza Herling, aka Shyla Foxxx (guess what business she's in).

Took Ganon down again last night in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. What a great game. Is the Master Quest different enough to give a go next time I get the urge?

Finished Castlevania Curse of Darkness (N64) the other day. Cornell's quest anyway, I'm tackling Henry's Quest next.
