Seattle Area Repair of Gran Trax 10 PCB?

Recommended Posts

Subject states it all. I have a Gran Trax to go along with my QUadra Pong. Both need PCB work.

Know of anyone in the PacNW who can tackle this? Of course I pay in $$ or trade :-)

Thanks,

-Lee

Hi Lee,

I don't know anybody there that does board work but I bet with the economy down, www.elektronforge.com would tackle it. Its all TTL and one specialty graphics chip. I think they could do that with their eyes closed.

Do you have the dreaded "full dots on the screen in waves" or do you have a partial screen display? I got one running one time by bypassing onboard regulators and using a modern power supply to power the chips. I have also seen the coin up circuit keep otherwise good boards from working. Could be an old shock related damage (these games ALL had the ground electrode on the plugs cut off).

Awesome. I used JRFlippers in Vancouver B.C. but they are pricey and slow.

I will check with elektronforge.

Thanks Cassidy,
