Bowser N64 #1 Posted January 20, 2009 Hi I just need help replacing the screen protector on my PSP. I had the new one out and all. but I got lint under it and had to peel it up and washed the dust off. It seems to have more dust on it and then when i try to put it on the dust particles cause air bubbles under the screen protector. How do I get rid of these? How do I apply the screen protector? Will I be able to do so with out ANY dust? I hate dust under screens. Please help. thanks. I eagerly await your reply. I will not use my PSP without a screen protector. CGQuarterly #3 Posted January 20, 2009 You need a new screen protector. If that one has dust on the sticky side, there's nothing you can do about it. When you get a new one, just make sure the PSP is totally dust free (use a can of compressed air) and then apply the new protector quickly, before any dust can settle. moycon #4 Posted January 20, 2009 I had the same issue putting a screen on my Zune. After ruining two, (I guess my house is damn dusty) What I did was apply it in the bathroom. First I cleaned the screen real good, then I turned on the hot water in the shower and let the bathroom steam up. My thought was that would knock all the dust out of the air, and it seemed to have worked. The cover went on perfect.
Bowser N64 #5 Posted January 20, 2009 Thanks guys. Maybe removing the battery to demagnetize the PSP's screen or whatever prior to putting the new screen protector on would help?

Works very well for me. -Lee
