STICH666 #1 Posted January 23, 2009 AVP, Doom, Tempest 2000 and a controller? My local Play-N-Trade is selling that bundle. Is that too much?
BuddyBuddies #2 Posted January 23, 2009 AVP, Doom, Tempest 2000 and a controller? My local Play-N-Trade is selling that bundle. Is that too much? Its way too much, there are much better deals worth looking for buddy Id say $100 max and even that seems a tad high.
Crazy Climber #3 Posted January 23, 2009 I all of it boxed/CIB? If it's loose then no, CIB it's a little more realistic but still a little high. You are saving on shipping though...
ls650 #4 Posted January 23, 2009 Even boxed that is high. You could buy all that stuff loose and working on eBay, with cables, for half that price.
STICH666 #5 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Yeah I guess I'll just wait until garage sales start showing up again to hunt for a Jaguar. They also have a NeoGeo CD loose for $600. and a loose 3DO for $200. Background checking with some sites, those prices are ridiculous. I got another loose console and and carts for around $50 a few months back.
minuS #9 Posted January 23, 2009 $150 for that bundle isn't as bad as $200 for a loose 3D0, but yeah, Tempest 2000 and DOOM are everywhere. AVP may be the only one that's kinda tough to find, on account of it being relatively in-demand. Based on what I've seen around major cities and online, $50 is the max you should be paying for a Jaguar system.

kevincal #11 Posted January 24, 2009 That bundle is worth $75 total.. Not $150.
Pete5125 #12 Posted January 24, 2009 Also depends, are they Pro controllers, how many controllers, are you getting the RGB type TV conection or the old school RF Modulator, the deal doesn't sound like a ripp-off just a little overpriced, If you got to ebay I see a similar bundle w/4 game for $43 at the moment, and as long as Sweetstuff can stay away I would bet you could gwt it or any # of similar bundles for under $100,
Gorf #13 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) The douche probably paid 35 bucks for everything and is just trying to make a swindle on some poor unsuspecting soul. Bastard! Edited January 26, 2009 by Gorf

the.golden.ax #15 Posted January 26, 2009 We have a local game store that buys everything on eBay, and marks it up 2 - 3 times the eBay winning price. They don't even hide this fact... they tell everyone they buy their products from an "auction site" and state they can get anything you want on special order. They stay in business, sad but I guess it works. Some people are really eBay shy. AX
ls650 #16 Posted January 26, 2009 ... or have been burnt by the eBay experience and don't want to have to deal with them again...
Crazy Climber #17 Posted January 26, 2009 Well, like I said earlier, if it is all CIB it's not horrible. I would pay $75 shipped for a nice CIB jaguar system, A vs P CIB in great shape is probably a $40 game, Doom and Tempest CIB, maybe $10-$15 each now you are looking at around $150. I am willing to bet the stuff is loose though, loose brings the value way down in my opinion. Loose it's probably worth half that
